This is a classic Batmobile toy from 1989. the first release comes with a Cocoon shield. In subsequent releases, Toybiz decided to remove this feature. This was the very first Batmobile I got when I started my Batman collection. Till today, it's still one of my top 3 favorites despite its flaws. It has a very nice box art.

The Batmobile comes with 2 rockets, instruction sheet and sticker sheet.

Let's talk about the flaws in this toy.
1st - there's no canopy. So it's not film accurate.
2nd - the cocoon shield is made of a very thin plastic, It's prone to crack and tear. Need to handle with care!

Here's what's cool about this Batmobile.
1st - Its a two seater vehicle which is film accurate. Unfortunately there's no Vicky Vale to sit beside Batman.

2nd - it has firing rockets at the push of the gear. I just realized that you need to flick the gear upwards a little harder to fire the rockets.

3rd - It has the Cocoon shield which is film accurate. As you can see pic below, there's a small tear on the cocoon.
4th - The trunk can be open as storage space or to put a villain in.
5th - One final feature, as you roll the Batmobile, it makes a loud "turbo" sound.

As for the vintage Toybiz Batman figure, he comes with 2 accessories, the Grappling gun and the Batarang.

If you're wondering why the belt looks so weird, that's because it has a play feature. The belt is a retracting zipline, its called hidden Bat-rope in the packaging. Lastly the cape is removable.

Overall, this is a very good toy in a Batman collection. Yes I would recommend you get it, if you can find them.
