Continuing from my previous post here
The seller finally called me and told me he had found the Well of Souls playset. On top of that, he also found the Desert Convoy truck. He asked me if I want it too? Of course I want! Went to.grab these holy grails of Indiana Jones on 30th June
and I am very happy to finally for the first time,
completed an entire vintage toyline collection!
Let's check out the Well of Souls playset. This was on my wish list for ages.
It's a very thin box. Surprisingly it can housed the entire playset.
There are many parts and accessories in this playset. Glad to note that my specimen is complete.
Check out the beautiful details of the parts.
The Art of the Covenant is in metallic gold. There are two poles which can be inserted to the Ark.
The set comes with a mummy, 2 torches, grappling hook and 12 snakes. These stuff are usually missing in many loose sets for sale in the secondary market.
There's also a breakaway wall and a grey boulder that covers the Ark. Assembly is easy.

The mummy is placed on the side of the breakaway wall.
On the other side, a snake comes out from another mummy's mouth (this is a movie.accurate scene)
Besides the 12 snakes, the base are also sculpted with lots of snakes.

I am most pleased with this playset.
The Well of Souls playset is very rare especially complete with box. Check out eBay SOLD listings to get idea of the value.
Next - the Desert Convoy Truck. A week ago, I asked the seller if he have this. He told me he didn't see any Indy truck toy. So imagine my surprise when he told me he found one - and its in mint unplayed condition!

Comes complete with cardboard inserts.
Stickers unused. Accessories still sealed in bag.
I won't be opening this. Would rather keep it new and mint in box.
The seats and tailgate can be open.
The Desert Convoy truck is another rare toy from this line.
Definitely recommended if you are a Indiana Jones fan!
