Pre-ordered this and finally got it yesterday.. This is just an unboxing posts. There are plenty of reviews and photos of this Voltron online. Up to date, this is the most expensive non-vintage Voltron toy I've acquired.
Mine didn't come in a brown box. The box is wrapped with a Voltron plastic bag.
Very nice artwork.
Inner cardboard insert - very nice!
There's the Voltron emblem embossed on the side of the box. Cool!
Underneath the huge styro box is the plastic casing for base and accessories.
There's magnetic joints for the cover.
The toy feels solid. Well painted and articulated. Plus it comes with pilots in all lions in addition to the standing pilots figures. And it has LED light up eyes feature. A must buy if you are a Golion or Voltron fan. This trumps the SOC Golion. in my opinion. Let's see how Bandai will upgrade if they ever re-issue the SOC Golion.
