KO VOLTRONS - FANTASY JEWEL (FJ) GOLION AND TITAN POWER KING OF BEAST (VOLTRON)

Since Bandai issued a SOC Golion few years back, I am pretty sure there will be KOs (knock-offs) or some preferred to call 'Third Party' versions of Golion/Voltron. Here are two that is available in the market.

Fantasy Jewel Golion - I didn't buy this at first because the third party company issued individual lions one by one. I wasn't sure if they are going to complete all five lions so I waited until they finally release the Black Lion - the final piece to form Golion.

The FJ Golion is basically a KO of SOC Golion, with some small modifications.

IMPORTANT NOTE - When transforming the Black lion to get the tail back, there's a video on YouTube to show how its done correctly. I've seen some collector broke the Black Lion's tail during transformation. You see, this FJ Golion set doesn't comes with any instructions. To put the tail back in place, you have to push the joints down before folding it back.

The Black, Red and Green Lions looks pretty good.

There are QC Issues for Yellow and Blue Lions. Their head keeps popping off.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON TRANSFORMATION - The Black lion paws need to be turned around facing backwards before putting them in the shoulder case. This allows the limbs lions to lock in place. Again this info is from a Youtuber. FJ Golion looks pretty good on display.

The Black Lion comes with these weapons (assembly needed) and also additional lion tails.

FJ Golion is a good substitute if you can't get the original Bandai SOC Golion. Beware of QC issues as this is a third party item. I bought this so that I can play and display it and keep my SOC Golion mint in box.

Titan Power King of Beast (Voltron) - This third party version was copied from a Korean designer if I am not mistaken. You can check out the whole story by checking in the net. This is more of an stylized Voltron action figure and it can't transform.
