This toy was initially issued by Matchbox in the 1980s. In the early 1990s, Harmony Gold re-released the figures and vehicles from their Robotech line but using their own brand name. I found this toy during one of my business trips. It was selling pretty cheap but I was hesitant at first, thinking that it'may be broken or missing some stuff. To my surprise, the toy is new in box! I won't be removing it from the box because I may sell this in the future. Here are the pictures of this toy in its minty glory.

I don't have any Matchbox version to make a comparison. Comparing some pictures from the internet, the packaging looks identical to the Matchbox version. The only difference is the Matchbox logo on the top left corner is replaced with Harmony Gold.

The toy is made of plastic without any diecast parts. And it doesn't have any play features. The color looks dull too. It does comes with a decals sheet to give it some detail. It is in its molded color and there are no paint job at all!

Both Armored Hatches (the green thing on his shoulders) can be open to reveal unpainted rockets.

It does have decent articulation.

It doesn't come with any accessories. Only a 1-page instruction sheet and 1 decal sheet are included.

This toy is lacking in play value and details compared to other robot toys of the same period. It looks good on display and the box artwork is cool. This is probably only for diehard Robotech fans. Quite easy to find in eBay with average asking price of USD50.
