I was doing some clean up at the office. Dug up three boxes of Hotwheels and took the opportunity to snap some photos of the collection and also do some rearrangement. I started my Hotwheels collection with the 1989 Batmobile. After some time, here's the lot of Batmobiles I've collected.

Batmobile Color Shifters: Notice the Tumbler variation on the left and middle. Also from here we can see how the packaging change over time.. first it was the pull tab (left), then it was lenticular sticker (middle) and finally just the normal artwork (right)

Got the Kingdom Come set because I like Alex Ross art. Got this from Singapore.

Monster Truck Batmobile - on the left is the 2004 version. It cost only RM22.90. On the right is the 2018 version and cost RM47. I can understand inflation but what I am not satisfied is that the 2004 version has so much more details and chrome hub caps whereas the 2018 version, despite being more expensive has less and no chrome.

Batmobile box sets.

My other collection focus are Character Cars from tv, games and movies.

Below are the Chinese New Year cars and also the Leap Year car.

It's impossible to find Ecto 1 here. Scalpels selling for sky high price. Luckily I managed to get the set from Hong Kong for only HKD58.

Next on my collection focus are treasure hunts. Below are the "spectra flame" treasure hunts. Spectra flame is a round flame logo that you can see on the car. These are not rare but they are limited.

Old school treasure hunts. You'll see the word "Treasure hunt" or "T-Hunt" on the card.

50th Anniversary Gold Car with a traffic light.

More Batmobile collection. There are no end to repaints - so I decided to stop buying repaints. And interesting find is the chromed silver and gold Batmobile.
