1993 KENNER JURASSIC PARK COLLECTION PART 2 - VEHICLES & DINOS (UPDATED WITH JP3 DINOS, MARCH 15
Continuing from previous post, here we take a look at the two vehicles that came with the lot purchase and also the dinos.

Let's start with the Jungle Explorer with firing blood sample missiles and dino damage feature.

Overall it's pretty nice.

At the top of the vehicle, there's a mounted camera and headlights. My headlights sticker is missing.

Flip up the back portion to reveal missile launcher.

The blood sample missile - When the missile is inserted in the flip-up missile launcher (above), the indicator changes color to red (see below) to simulates blood sample taken.
To reset, simply place the missile back to the missile storage at the side of the vehicle.

Dino damage!

Figures can be placed inside the vehicle via the sun-roof.

Three figures fit in there comfortably.

Next - The Bush Devil Jeep (Jeep Wrangler) with Dino Snare, Tranq Missile Launcher and dino damage feature. It fits two figures comfortably.

Another figure can stand behind to handle the tranq missile launcher.
And yes, there's dino damage (below) on the windscreen.

The passenger seat can be extended sideway. This feature was in The Lost World movie but not in the original Jurassic Park.

These are the dinos that came in the lot purchase. All in good working condition.

*************************** UPDATED WITH JP3 DINOS MARCH 15, 2020 **************************
I got this lot of JP3 Re-Ak -A-Tak dinos together with the Ian Malcolm figure (reviewed in previous blog). Made in 2001, these toys have electronic sounds and moving features. I didn't test mine. I checked the battery compartments for all and found that all batteries are removed but it does have some stain. These make very good display pieces.

Spino vs T-rex!

Here's a comparison between 2001 Hasbro Jurassic Park dinos and the 2015 Hasbro Jurassic World dinos. As you can see, after 14 years, Hasbro's JW dinos are far inferior in terms of sculpt, paint job and play features. Plus there are lots of screw holes visible in the JW figures. This is a big FAIL for Hasbro. No wonder the JP license went to Mattel.
