POWER RANGERS MOVIE TOYSRUS EXCLUSIVE 5-IN-1 MEGAZORD

The Power Rangers Movie came out last year. I wanted to buy the Megazord but one look at the price, I gave up. The Zords sold here (Malaysia) are priced ridiculously high. And for that kinda money, you can buy better quality and higher end collectibles like SOC or MetalBuild. So I shelved the thought of owning it until recently when the Zords are on sale now (as expected, who would be dumb enough to buy them at those price?). Even after the discount (I think is 50% off), the Zords are still expensive and they are incomplete. So again I skipped. Then I went online shopping and guess what I found? The 5-in-1 Megazord which is a ToysrUs Exclusive! This colossal set comes with a super huge box. The amount I paid for this including shipping cost from the USA is SO MUCH LESS than buying the Zords here!!

Red Ranger and T-Rex : Play gimmick - firing missiles, electronic sounds and Red Ranger figure that fits in the cockpit which is T-Rex's mouth.

Yellow Ranger and Sabertooth Tiger : Play gimmick - moving mounted canons and Yellow Ranger that fits in the cockpit. The Sabertooth Tiger Zord have no tail.

Pink Ranger and Pterodactyl : Play gimmick - Catching claws underneath the Zord that can grab the grey Putty figure and Pink Ranger fits in the cockpit.

Now my least favorite two Zords - Blue Ranger & Triceratops with six legs and Black Ranger & Mastodon with six legs. Triceratops have missile firing action in its tail.

The Mastodon has a net launcher.

The mini Rangers figures are sculpted well with minimal paint details.

Now to transform to Megazord. These are Part-formers. Parts are detached and then reattach at different places. The Triceratops and Mastodon forms the legs.

The rest forms the body, hands and wings.

All the individual Zords weapons can be held or attached on the Megazord. The design of this Megazord looks more like a humanoid rather than a robot.

This is one colossal Megazord - here he is with Shogun Jumbo Godzilla. Megazord is so much taller!

To me, this is a good buy because this is a ToysRus (TRU) Exclusive and TRU had closed down their business (in US) this year. Probably this will be one rare piece to own in the future.
