VINTAGE 1987 LJN THUNDERCATS JAGA

Found and acquired him from a local collector. this is one of the rarest toy in the LJN Thundercats toyline - Jaga! This character is like a shadow to Star Wars' Ben Kenobi. He died in the first episode and came back to guide Lion-O as a ghost.

Jaga's weapon seems to be a custom. I could be wrong. Maybe the silver paint has faded. (Interesting Note - The Playful version Thundercats' swords for Lion-O and Jaga has only the blade painted compared to the US LJN version where the blade, logo and guard are painted silver). Below is a comparison shot. Lion-O sword is made of sturdier plastic whereas Jaga's sword is more pliable and bendy.

The seller is kind enough to give me a custom vintage Thundercats sword as a gift.

A closer look at the logo, you'll see whiskers on the lion logo. This is where you can tell this is a KO. Also there's some silver color residue, I guess initially the sword was painted silver.
