I love this toy. The engineering of this toy is simple yet amazing. It's really fun to play with. However due to age (this toy is over 40 years old), I don't recommend you play with it now, as plastic parts do get brittle over time. In fact, the head of my specimen actually was broken when I opened it. More on this later.

Let's look at the box. Box art is beautiful with picture of the toy.

At the back are the features of the toy and also shows the figure's articulation.

My set didn't come with instruction sheet.

Gojira is super heavy. The head and the tail is made of vinyl. The jaw, arms, body and legs are made of diecast metal.

The vinyl tail are segmented to allow kids to simulate 'tail-lashing' action.

Gojira chest can be open to reveal a mini playset. The playset parts are made of plastic. The neck piece of my specimen was broken. Here you can see it's glued back.

He comes with 4 missiles, a tank and a jet. The jet looks like Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.

And there's a telescoping 'command center' or 'observatory deck' with two figures manning it.

The yellows missiles can be fired from the launcher. The firing mechanism on my specimen still works great. The jet is stored at the top hangar and the tank below.

Here's a cool gimmick - When you swivel Gojira's head, his mouth open and closes. My specimen had a broken neck (the black square piece) that activates this feature. It was glued back, that's why I have to be very careful pressing down the neck in order to move the head left to right.

Another gimmick is the Gojira's arms. His elbows bends when his arms are resting on his thigh. By pressing down the lever on his shoulder, his arm extends straight!

I guess you can simulate 'karate chops' action!

As long as the arms doesn't rest on the thighs, they remain straightened.

That's how it is when I got it. The head, the jaw and the broken neck piece. Luckily it didn't broke into tiny pieces. At least I can still glued it back.

Well, I like the this toy but due to the breakage, I was disappointed with the purchase as it's quite pricey in the secondary market.

Definitely recommended for the vintage toy collectors or to Godzilla's collectors.
