GUNDAM RX-78-2 MECHANICAL SKELETON MODEL (1998 RE-ISSUE)

These days I don't buy Gundam model kits but for this, I'll make an exception. I saw this Gundam model many years ago in a Hobby magazine. I've been hunting for it for years, found it on eBay few times but the price is crazily expensive. Then I tried my luck checking out online toy stores from Japan and yes! I finally found it! This model was issued in 1983, then re-issued in 1998. I like it because it has a cut-away feature that show the inner mechanics of the robot.

To my surprise, it has a light up effect too!

You can display it in cut-away mode or full body mode. It comes with a stand and a thick cardboard backing.

Another surprise, there's also a mini pilot in the robot!
