I've missed buying this vintage Slave 1 many times on eBay. I've waited and waited, and the price keeps going up north. Finally found one which is complete with instructions and with a decent ESB box (but with POP cut out). I got this from a local collector.

The ship comes with Han Carbonite block. My specimen is missing a lot of its stickers. But I guess that's ok as I can always get repro labels.

The ship is pretty big. It has a black ramp and a tinted canopy.

It has a handle at the back. There's a button above the handle and it's function is to stabilize the wings.

All the stickers on the Carbonite block is not present.

Here's a size comparison of Han figure and the Carbonite. They are almost the same height.

Side panels can be pop off to reveal pilot seat with a clip.

My loose vintage Boba Fett figure is stacked away in cabinet and I am too lazy to get it out. So I got a vintage Greedo here clip-on to the pilot seat.

With a slide of a lever next to the right wing, Greedo moves up to the cockpit.

The ramp can be slide down. Han Carbonite fits nicely in the cargo hold of the ship.

Slave 1 cargo hold can also be use to store your loose figures.

The wings will pivot up and down - powered by gravity - depending how you hold the ship. The button behind the handle (which was mentioned earlier) will stabilize the wings.

Another play feature is the canons on the ship can rotate - with 'click' sound. This is a 1981 toy so I guess 'clicking' sound IS a feature at that time. (see pic below)

This toy can still be easily found in eBay. Complete with box specimens prices ranges from USD150-250.
