The fourth installment of the Batman movie franchise - Batman & Robin didn't get a lot of love from fans. The movie was criticized as the worst Batman movie. The toys sucks as well, more on this later. I've collected all the Batman movies Batmobiles and after a while, I felt the need to collect the supporting characters vehicles, well at least one. The iconic ones. So for Robin, his most iconic vehicle would be the Redbird and Batgirl, the Batcycle.
Interestingly, the Redbird is thus far the most expensive and rarer of the toys from the Batman and Robin (B&R) line. It's more expensive than the B&R Batmobile in the secondary market. Good luck hunting one down. From the packaging it looks pretty good.

Nice artwork here!

The problem with the toy? Look at the picture below - is that's how Robin suppose to ride the Redbird? How's Robin suppose to see the road? Second problem, Robin is a nice figure but his cape is stuck on his back and not around the neck. It looks pretty weird. C'mon Kenner, this toy is from the late 90s and that's the quality we get? Sigh....... I guess the toy is just good for display like in the packaging.

The other play features are a shooting missile and a flip down booster thingy. Quite lame.

Batgirl with the Icestrike Cycle is a little better that the Redbird. However this toy is very common and inexpensive compared to the Redbird.

Very nice artwork.

And yes, Batgirl can ride her Batcycle properly. And Batgirl's cape is on her neck. I don't understand why Kenner can do it right for Batgirl but not for Robin.

It features disc launcher and a side-wing thingy. This is at least better than the Redbird in my opinion.

With the exception of Robin's Redbird, the toys from Batman and Robin line are quite easy to find and cheap too. Would only recommend this if you're a completist.
