VINTAGE 1982 BANDAI POPY DX KIKOUGATTAI DAIRUGGER XV (VOLTRON 1)

I did a review of Matchbox DX Voltron 1 last year and that toy was based on this toy - Kikougattai Dairugger XV. I got this as a 'payment' from a toy retailer (long story...). The good news is this set is complete with all paperwork and instructions, the bad news is the sword and right fist are broken, propellers on one of the helicopters is broken and the chrome is almost all gone and the box is torn and crappy! So far I've managed to fix the broken fist and sword.

The only difference between the Matchbox version and this are the antennas on the Sea-Team, the sword and stickers details.

The robot still displays very well despite its flaws.

The sword has become almost transparent, the chrome all worn out.

This Japan version is quite difficult to get. Saw one selling in EBay for Over USD1000.
