STAR WARS EMPIRE STRIKES BACK LUKE & WAMPA IN HOTH DIORAMA

I've been wanting to open and display the Hasbro Hoth Luke with snow base and Wampa with snow base for quite some time now. Well after over 10 years, decided to release these figures from their plastic prison. I am happy with this diorama. It's a beauty!

Let's begin with Luke. He comes with goggles, light saber with removable hilt and base.

The goggle doesn't really fit luke.

It looks better if the goggles are placed up or down.

Luke head sculpt have battle damage scars,

Wampa comes with piece of meat (presumably from the dead TaunTaun), detachable arm and snow base.

Wampa can't hold the piece of meat because his hands are open. To pose him with the meat, you've got to lean the meat against its body. (pic above)

Wampa arms and legs are made of soft rubbery materials. An interesting feature of this Wampa is that it has 3 points articulation on his body (chest, abs, waist) so he can twist and turn to make some interesting pose.

There are some 'blood' detailing on the severed arm!

Now to combine them both to recreate the Hoth scene in Empire Strikes Back.

Both Luke and Wampa snow base can be connected to form the diorama. The base is pretty nice, it is painted white and light blue at the bottom but towards the top part it's translucent blue.
