I did a review last year on my vintage Jabba playset. I've always wanted to create a diorama of Jabba Palace but I didn't have any Jabba henchmen figures then. Jabba henchmen are quite easy to find in eBay but what I wanted was a lot of figures. After many months of searching for the right price, right characters and complete specimens, I've finally hunted down one lot. Here they are.
Pic below: Luke doing his Jedi mind trick on Bib Fortuna.

"You weak-minded fool, he's using an old Jedi mind trick" - Jabba the Hutt

There were no 'slave Leia' version in the vintage Kenner's toyline. So I guess Leia Boussh will do. Due to the high collar of this Leia figure, it's quite difficult to clip the collar chain to her neck.

I bought this henchmen lot because it has two Gamorrean Guards.

I am amazed at the details of these figures especially Bib Fortuna. He comes with staff, cloth gown and inner chest plate (covered most of the time). Another detailed figure is Squid Head, with cloth cape, cloth skirt, chest plate and gun. I remember that Ree Yees and Squid Head are peg warmers here.

I have two Jedi Luke, one acquired locally and the other from eBay. Jedi Luke was my first Star Wars figure. After pestering my mom for many moons, she finally agreed to buy me one. So I chose the hero with the most accessories. Luke Jedi came with cloak, blaster and lightsaber. Mine originally came with a green saber, then my brother pointed out to me behind the card back that the picture of Luke Jedi had a blue saber. There are many variations of this figure - green saber, blue saber, stitched cape, snap cape (below), painted face, flesh color molded face, no COO (below left).....etc. I am looking for a blue saber variant now...
