Finally it arrived today. Macross Storm Attacker-Construction (a.k.a.Super Dimension Fortress 1 (SDF-1) in Robotech). In the anime, this is a super huge robot with a city inside!
Check out the beautiful box art.

Inside, there's another cardboard cover, similar to vintage Chogokin toys.

It comes with:
1) 5 missiles
2) 5 Valkyries/Jets
3) Prometheus & Daedalus Super Carrier
4) 2 sticker sheet
5) Instruction sheet
6) Takatoku catalog

A little disappointed with the weight of the figure because I thought this was going to be huge and heavy. There are diecast content but only limited to the internal structure of the body and the landing gears. The rest are made of plastic.
This toy have some cool play features. It is a transformable toy with three modes - Robot, Cruiser and Super-Attack.

You can see some yellowing on the figure. Can't help it, this toy is over 30 years old!

His hands are actually two battleships / super carriers - Daedalus & Prometheus.

The super attack mode (below pic)

The Cruiser-Fortress mode (below pic)

The diecast landing gears once extended, allows the cruiser (Cruiser-Fortress) to roll freely.

Matchbox released this figure under the Robotech series. However all the firing features have been removed, similar to the Voltron figure.
Check out the cool features of this original Japan version! It has missiles firing canons and a pair of missile launchers on his legs (in cruiser mode!)

The mini Valkyries/Jets can be placed on Daedalus or Prometheus battleships and launched from there (see instruction pic below)

The Super Carriers Daedalus and Prometheus are removable from the robot. They have small wheels underneath for rolling action.

And there are two opening compartments (one in front and the other at the back of the bridge) to store missiles and Valkyries/Jets.

This Takatoku version is very rare. EBay prices for a mint in box specimen goes from USD600-800. The more common Matchbox version is going for USD300-450.
