One of my prized collectible is the 1993 Jurassic Park T-Rex figure. The JP figure is huge and it towers over the recent 2015 Jurassic World T-Rex. Play features include electronic roar, chomping action, stomping sounds as its feet hits the ground and it comes with 3 Movie Collectors Cards! I got mine many years ago through eBay and the T-Rex is mint in sealed in package.

The JP T-Rex is very detailed. it features a 'real-life' skin, which is basically rubber skin that is sculpted beautifully. I've read somewhere that this figure is actually based on the original Stan Winston studio T-Rex model for the movie.

One minor problem with the T-Rex is the way it is packaged. The box is actually too short for the T-rex, which ended up the T-Rex having a bent tail. So for my figure, I opened the box flap and allow the tail to fully extend. (pic below). A mint in box specimen of JP T-Rex is very rare and price can go up to USD300.

Fast forward to 2015, we have the JW Jaw Chomping T-Rex. Made of hard plastic. It has a decent head sculpt. Tail is separated from the body but once it's attached, it can never be removed. There is not much play value here and compared to it's 22 year old predecessor, I think this toy failed. Sadly, they don't make toys the way they used to.
