I just got this today, bought it from USA. It is Mattel's Shogun Action Vehicle Grendizer's Solar Saucer! The box and styrofoam is quite crappy at one corner. I guess the saucer is still new as there are no visible paint wear on it, and the baggie with the 3 missiles is still sealed with a 'yellowed' cellophane tape. However the Grendizer figure does have some paint wear. The set comes with the Solar Saucer, a mini Grendizer robot and 3 missiles. This was originally issued by POPY Japan and the POPY version Grendizer figure is painted blue and red, unlike this one which is black and white.

Grendizer is made of plastic and he 's about 2" tall. His arms are articulated. The top part of the saucer is diecast. It has foldable arms (wings) with rocket shooting feature. Tested all the firing rockets and launching robot gimmick and they all worked great after all these years! Though there are 3 buttons above the cockpit, they all have the same function, that is to launch Grendizer.

The toy is made in Japan. You can see the Japanese words on the belly of the saucer and it says UFO. I think this is a really cool toy because it mimicks the Grendizer cartoon where he comes out from the UFO for battle! Saw a loose one with 2 missiles sold on eBay for USD20++. A mint specimen with box, styrofoam and all accessories is selling for USD150-USD220.
