VINTAGE 1986 TAKARA TRANSFORMERS JR CONVOY (OPTIMUS PRIME)

I collect many Optimus Prime, from G1 till the movies version. Hopefully one day I can showcase the evolution of Optimus Prime when I do some spring cleaning in my toy room. This Takara Convoy from theJapan Exclusive Transformers Jr line (a.k.a Transformer Gokin) is the oldest original Optimus I own. It's a basic Convoy (or Optimus) figure with his gun. He also comes with stickers. What's interesting about this version is that the trailer is made of cardboard!

He comes pack in a plastic tray and not styrofoam. The figure is held by an elastic band. There's a Takara sticker on the front of the box. This single pack figure is hard to find on eBay. What usually pops up on eBay are the 3 Pack Giftset which consist of Fortress Max, Chromedome and Optimus, and they are pricey.
