2005 BANDAI SOUL OF CHOGOKIN - TETSUJIN 28 AND BLACK OX

Tetsujin 28 was created way back in 1956 by Mitsuteru Yokoyama. It can be considered as the starting point of Japanese Giant Robot (Mecha) genre. Black Ox is the bad guy. These robots are not 'piloted' as in many Japanese Robots cartoons, but controlled via a remote control. There are many reviews of these on the internet, so I wont do that. instead I'll just show you some pictures.

I bought this from a collector who had displayed it on the shelf. While the toy is complete and the box is mint, the chrome on the display base for both these figures had deteriorated.
