Mattel imported this and many other popular Japanese robots toys and rebrand them as Shogun Warriors to be sold in the US. This little guy is heavy, about 90% of it is diecast (or popularly known as chogokin in Japan) and only 5" tall. This is the second release where Mattel cut down the articulation, details and accessories. (The first release features articulated knees, 4 swords and painted Scrander jetpack.) Here's the view of the box.

Behind his back is written "GA-05 Japan". It's made in Japan, originally issued by a company called Popy. Though it doesnt pop up in eBay frequently, this figure is still quite affordable. I got this mint specimen, complete accessories with box for USD60 including shipping. Recommended if you're a chogokin collector.
