2013 HONG KONG MTR LIMITED EDITION STORM RIDERS (FUNG WAN) SET - CLOUD, WIND & NAMELESS

When I saw this on eBay many years ago, I was very interested to buy but I hesitated because I wasn't sure of the value. Very quickly, this was sold out and I have been hunting for it ever since. Finally found it in a local toy store. The asking price is similar with the one I saw on eBay. The Storm Riders aka Fung Wan is a popular kung fu martial art comic in Hong Kong, created by legendary HK artist Ma Wing-Shing. Over the years, I've collected miniature swords, model kits and figures. This set is the most difficult to find. Check out the pics.

The set was released weekly starting from October 6, 2013. First set was Wind, followed by Nameless and finally Cloud. Originally they come with the MTR Souvenir cards but mine doesn't.

Cloud comes in 2 boxes, one for the figure and the other for the diorama MTR station.

Nice artwork at the side of the boxes.

The figures are beautifully sculpted and painted. It's about 2" tall. The MTR diorama base is very detailed.

Nameless - this is probably my favorite. Also this is Nameless iconic pose, taken from one of the comic cover if not mistaken.

Happy to finally own it. Another item in the wish list acquired!
